Frequently asked questions

Q1. What does AmirashX actually do?
AmirashX is a boutique consulting firm that helps founders and leadership teams execute their vision—through growth strategy, D2C and marketplace scaling, distribution and operations optimisation, pricing and margin work, and organisation/operating‑model design.
Q2. What types of businesses do you work with?
We typically work with product‑led businesses: D2C brands, eCommerce and marketplace sellers, distributors, manufacturers, and mid‑market companies that are either scaling fast or preparing for a new growth phase.
Q3. Do you only work with D2C and Amazon brands?
No. That’s a strong area of experience, but not the only one. We also support distributors, manufacturers, and service businesses on go‑to‑market, pricing, operations, and organisation design when execution is the main challenge.
Q4. How do you approach a new engagement?
Every engagement starts with a short discovery call, followed by a structured assessment of your current situation, numbers, and constraints. From there we co‑design a focused roadmap and then stay involved for 12–16 weeks to help your team execute, review progress, and course‑correct.
Q5. How long does a typical project run?
Most core engagements run between 12 and 16 weeks. Short, focused assignments (for example, pricing review or targeted operations audit) can be 8–10 weeks. Longer, multi‑market or multi‑business mandates are broken into phases so you always know what is happening and when.
Q6. How involved are you during execution?
Very involved. You get weekly working sessions, async support for decisions during the week, and structured monthly reviews. We help you make trade‑offs, unblock teams, and adapt the plan as new information shows up.
Q7. How is pricing structured?
Pricing depends on scope and intensity. Most projects are priced as fixed‑fee engagements with milestone‑based payments. For ongoing support after the initial phase, we work on a simple monthly retainer. All commercial terms are documented in a clear proposal before you commit.
Q9. Do you offer a free initial consultation?
Yes. We offer a 30‑minute discovery conversation at no charge. The goal is to understand your context, test fit on both sides, and outline potential ways of working, not to sell you a template.
Q8. Do you take every project that comes your way?
No. We only accept work where we believe execution support will create meaningful impact and where we have direct experience. If your challenge is outside our expertise, we will say so and, where possible, point you in a better direction.
Q10. How do you think about ROI from your work?
We look at hard metrics (revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction, cash‑flow improvement) as well as “execution health” indicators (clarity of priorities, cadence of reviews, speed of decision‑making). Specific success metrics are agreed at the start of every engagement.
Q12. Do you work remotely, on‑site, or hybrid?
Most work is done remotely via structured calls, shared workspaces, and clear documentation-this keeps speed high and costs under control. For key workshops or inflection points, we can plan on‑site sessions by mutual agreement.
Q11. Can you share case studies?
Where client confidentiality allows, we can walk you through anonymised examples during the discovery or proposal phase-covering the starting point, decisions made, and results achieved. Public case studies and stories will also be shared over time on our blog.
Q14. How quickly do you usually respond?
During an active engagement, we typically respond to emails or messages within one business day, and faster for time‑sensitive decisions agreed in advance. For new enquiries, we aim to reply within 24 hours on working days.
Q13. What does onboarding look like if we decide to work together?
After you accept the proposal, we agree timelines, confirm the core team on your side, and schedule a kick‑off session. In the first 1–2 weeks we gather key data, refine objectives, and lock the initial 12–16 week plan so everyone knows what we are working towards.
Q16. Will you work with our direct competitors?
We avoid conflicts of interest. If there is any overlap with an existing or recent engagement in your exact category and geography, we will disclose it upfront and agree clear boundaries - or decline the work if we cannot do so in good faith.
Q15. How do you handle sensitive business information?
We treat all client information as confidential. Where needed, we are happy to sign NDAs, and any data shared with us is used only for the purpose of serving your engagement. Documents and workspaces are stored using secure, reputable tools.
